TF1 is 50 years old! To celebrate this anniversary, TF1 is creating the event and offering you a unique documentary: “TF1 50 years together”. Isabelle Ithurburu and Gilles Bouleau will look back on 50 years of current affairs and 50 years of cult programs on TF1. For nearly 2.5 hours, they will turn the pages of this family album, that of all French people. TF1 was created on January 6, 1975. And the strength of this exceptional documentary is precisely that it tells not the history of TF1, but the history of and the French over the last 5 decades, both through images news of the time, as well as the evolution of TF1's flagship programs. Unforgettable archives, rare images broadcast on TF1, nostalgia, emotion, laughter and a few surprises, this documentary takes us back to our memories, into 50 years of shared emotions. Memories made of the main events which have marked the history of the last 50 years. From Amoco-Cadiz to the fire at Notre-Dame, through Yannick Noah's victory in 1983 at Roland Garros to those of the Blues in the World Cup or even the death of Lady Di and the storm of the century. Through each of these archives, it is also the scent of the era that we will relive, from the arrival of the Internet to the transition to the year 2000. The opportunity also to rediscover the very first steps (sometimes unexpected) stars of today's screen like Nikos Aliagas, Denis Brogniart, Dorothée or even the very young Arthur…) The documentary will also bring back to life the shows that have accompanied us all these years, with which we grew up, all generations combined. Game shows, variety shows, youth shows from Casimir to Dorothée and many others… In 50 years, society has changed a lot. And you will discover that these shows which make up the identity of TF1, such as “Le Juste Prix”, “Hélène et les Garçons”, “Alert à Malibu” or even “Dance avec les stars” reflect the evolution of societal trends for 5 decades. With “TF1 50 years Together”, leaf through the family album of all French people with pleasure and nostalgia!
