Christian Horner thanked Honda for the F1 partnership established in 2019, which brought numerous world titles to both entities. The director of Red Bull welcomes the choice to have worked with Honda.
In 2026, the Japanese manufacturer will join forces with Aston Martin while Ford will join Red Bull, and the Briton is still pleased with what the two allies have accomplished, particularly in 2023, and he promises to give everything until the end of the year 2025.
“2025 marks the final season of the Red Bull-Honda partnership in F1” Horner said.
“Seven years ago, when we announced that we were switching from our previous supplier to Honda engines, some people questioned our decision.”
“However, over the years we have proven with numerous historic records, such as the 21 victories from 22 races in 2023, that this was absolutely the right decision.”
“For the final season, Red Bull and HRC will leave no stone unturned to win. Until then, we will continue to work hard together to win every race and achieve more championships.”
