F1 returns in March 2025 for what promises to be an exciting season before major new regulatory changes in 2026.

This year, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) won his fourth consecutive World Drivers' Championship title after having a difficult season, with an impressive run of ten races without a victory. At the same time, the McLaren team finally celebrated its first constructors' championship after 26 years of drought, thanks to Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
Throughout the season, the driver market has seen big twists and turns, starting with the surprise arrival of Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari in 2025, to the departure of Sergio Perez from Red Bull and the arrival of Liam Lawson to replace him.
Interestingly, McLaren and Aston Martin are the only teams to retain their driver roster for next season, while six new drivers will enter the grid in 2025.
F1 is now ready for one last lap with current cars and engines before the big changes in 2026.
F1 calendar in 2025
Before the start of the season, the teams will participate in three days of pre-season testing in Bahrain, from February 26-28. During these tests, drivers will be able to get an idea of the performance and reliability of their new cars. They will also have the opportunity to make any necessary adjustments.
The 2025 season will consist of 24 races and will begin in Melbourne, Australia on March 16. Albert Park has not hosted the first race of the season since 2019.
With the month of Ramadan falling in March, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia staggered their races, landing the fourth and fifth rounds on April 13 and 20, respectively.
The season continues until December, with Abu Dhabi hosting the finale at the Yas Marina Circuit on December 7.
