Firstly, the day before, Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini) decides to test a new recipe for his class with the first years. But Joachim would have preferred to spend more time with his wife. He finds that she works too much, like her New Year's planning, and he misses her. During a lunch with Rose (Vanessa Demouy) and Constance, Clotilde relates Joachim's complaint.
Joachim and Clotilde enjoy a moment together before a terrible tragedy in Here it all begins
Constance (Sabine Perraud) understands Joachim and admits that as a boss's wife, she always has the impression of being the fifth wheel of the carriage. Clotilde understands that she has abandoned Joachim and wants to make up for it. So, she suggests a walk to the marshes and a lunch together. But Joachim has to see Marta, his sister, in Gruissan.
Finally, Joachim (Janis Abrikh) decides to postpone his visit to the following weekend in order to enjoy it with his wife. The next day, the couple planned to have a restaurant alone and a walk in the marshes. But after a long hug, they are forced to reconsider their plans. Their restaurant outing turned into a sandwich at the bakery while it was too cold for the walk.
Here it all begins: Marta is dead, Joachim and Clotilde devastated
As a result, Joachim and Clotilde decide to go have something hot to drink and turn off their phone. For his part, Teyssier is in his office, his face totally in shock. He tries to contact Joachim and Clotilde, but in vain. He asks Clotilde to call her back urgently. Anthony (Frédéric Diefenthal) and Claire (Catherine Marchal) arrive and notice Emmanuel's distressed look.
Teyssier then admits that something serious happened: Marta, Joachim's sister and former student of the Institute, suffered a ruptured aneurysm and… couldn't handle the shock. She died. When Clotilde and Joachim return to the Institute, Teyssier tells them the terrible news… Joachim risks being angry with himself for having postponed his visit.

Soon, Clotilde will be at the heart of the intrigue and her relationship could be in trouble. Marta (Sarah Fitri) was a historical figure of Here it all begins . She was in a relationship with Théo (Khaled Alouach), the son of Teyssier. Emmanuel had also exchanged a kiss with the young woman at the start of the series. Marta was also Charlène's best friend (Pola Petrenko). Teyssier is therefore devastated by the news.
