KTM AG employees will not receive their December salaries, according to an announcement from the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labor. The company had initially promised a 90% advance on salaries, but this promise was retracted, leaving salary payments to be borne by the bankruptcy compensation fund in 2025.

The presidents of PRO-GE unions et
GPAReinhold Binder and Barbara Tieber, denounced the management of the crisis on crash.net: “ the fact that,
contrary to company promisesunpaid salaries not being paid before Christmas is like a slap in the face for those affected. They are now footing the bill for seemingly ill-advised management decisions. »
KTM production is expected to resume on March 3, 2025
Production at KTM AG stopped after this Friday and should resume March 3, 2025. The company faces a colossal debt of nearly
800 million euros to various banks and of
34 million euros to the tax authorities and health insurance.
The general director of KTM AustriaChris Schipper, however shared a note of hope: “ sales and orders are at a good level. New lightweight models will be added to the KTM portfolio in 2025, notably in the supermoto and enduro segments. »
