Lando Norris claims he didn't sleep for 40 hours after the Brazilian Grand Prix

One of the turning points of the season. While he continued to gain ground on Max Verstappen, Lando Norris lost everything during the Brazilian Grand Prix. Starting in pole position while his rival was at the back of the grid, the Briton made several errors in dire weather conditions. On the contrary, the Dutchman completed one of his best career races to win and win his fourth world title a week later in Las Vegas. Asked about his feelings after the Brazilian GP, Lando Norris admitted to having had a lot of difficulty recovering from it.

Norris was devastated after the Brazilian GP

Especially since the pilot was isolated, alone in Monaco, as he confided to Motorsport : “I deleted all my social media so I wouldn’t have to check them. I literally couldn't sleep for the first two days, it lasted 36 or 40 hours straight, and that probably made things worse. When we are tired, we are more moody. It's a double effect. I was all alone at home. It probably would have been better if I was with my friends, but they don't live in Monaco, they also have a life and are busy with other things. And I'm someone who overthinks, so the whole flight home, and then the whole week, I was going over and over in my head: what could I have done differently? Why did I do this? Why didn't I do this? » Lando Norris will now have to digest this disappointment to come back stronger next season.
