Ferrari appears to contradict team boss Frédéric Vasseur's recent statement that there would be no further improvements to the SF-24 in the final three Grands Prix of 2024.
While Max Verstappen appears headed for his fourth drivers' world title, McLaren is still in the fight for the constructors' championship with Ferrari and Red Bull.
“Ferrari looks very strong,” McLaren CEO Zak Brown said ahead of the Las Vegas GP. “They give me more headaches than Red Bull.”
Just after the recent Brazilian GP, Vasseur responded “Nothing more to come” when asked if there would be other new plays in Las Vegas, Qatar or Abu Dhabi.
But the Frenchman really bluffed because the Ferrari 2024 will have a new front wing with modified flaps this weekend in Las Vegas.
There will also be an experimental flat bottom, present in a single copy, which will be used exclusively during Libre 1.
