. Gabriel Bortoleto signs major new contract and it's not with Sauber

Gabriel Bortoleto is the new ambassador of the cosmetics and perfumes group, O Boticário.

A few months before his debut in Formula 1 with Sauber, Gabriel Bortoleto has just secured a major partnership with O Boticário, a Brazilian cosmetics and perfumes giant. A signing which illustrates the growing enthusiasm around the young 20-year-old driver, expected to become the first Brazilian to compete in the world championship for seven years.

The Brazilian group chose its premium perfume brand Malbec to accompany the pilot. This collaboration has already materialized with an advertising campaign for the 20th anniversary of the fragrance, alongside Felipe Drugovich, Aston Martin reserve driver.

Gabriel Bortoleto will wear his partner's logo on the helmet, suit and car

The Malbec logo will be visible on Bortoleto's helmet, suit and single-seater until the end of the 2024 Formula 2 season, where the Brazilian currently leads the championship in his first year in the category.

For Marcela De Masi, executive director of branding and communications of the group, this symbolic association between a 47-year-old Brazilian company and a 20-year-old young hopeful reflects “the Brazilian determination to leave its mark” in world motorsport. Before diving into the deep end of F1, Bortoleto can aim for the title of F2 world champion, in which he currently leads the championship.
