The contract between the Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM) and the Formula One Group, which was due to end in 2025, has been renewed for another six years.

Created in 1929, the Monaco Grand Prix has been on the Formula 1 World Championship calendar since 1950. It is even the most competitive GP behind that of Monza (Italy) with a continuous presence of cars since 1955. “The signing of this new agreement with the Formula One Group until 2031, not only confirms the strength of our relationship, but also reaffirms our commitment to providing all visitors with an unrivaled and first-class race weekend experience.», confirmed Michel Boeri, President of the Automobile Club of Monaco. With this extension, the Grand Prix will therefore be excluded from the possible turnover of European races which suffer from competition from very attractive financial offers from emerging countries.
Monaco will host the eighth round of the 2025 season, from Thursday May 22 to Sunday May 25. Last year, for the 81e edition, the Monegasque Charles Leclerc had imposed himself for the first time in front of his public.
