This is a first and there is a reason for it. F1 wishes to celebrate its 75th year, in 2025, in an original and striking way. So, instead of letting the teams present, each in their own corner, their news delivered via dedicated events, Liberty Media decided to group everything together.
All F1 cars revealed at once
As a result, there will be no need to rack your memory next year so as not to miss the presentations of Mclaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Mercedes and other Alpine. Thus, only one date has been selected, for an unprecedented show which promises to be particularly rich and consistent. The details have already been revealed. This special evening will take place between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. GMT on February 18, 2025 in London on the O2 site.
It will be hosted by Brian Burke of BrianBurkeCreative, in cooperation with Stufish Entertainment Architects, DX7 Design and production company 1826. Liveries of Williams, Racing Bulls, Haas, Aston Martin, Alpine, Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari, Mclaren and Sauber will therefore be revealed there, simultaneously. Of course, all the drivers will also be present that day.
But that's not all since it will be possible to go there to attend the event. In fact, from November 15, 10:00 a.m. GMTT, you will be able to reserve your tickets via a dedicated site. Prices will range from approximately 70 euros to 136 euros, with three ticket levels offered.
« For the first time, we will bring together our fans, the 20 superstars of our sport and some very special guests to officially launch our new season and mark our 75th year of racing “, said Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1. “With 2025 set to be a classic season after all the drama so far for 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity for fans of all ages to experience up close the incredible entertainment spectacle that is Formula 1. »
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said: “ The FIA is delighted to join our FOM colleagues and all teams in hosting the inaugural event to launch the Formula 1 season. The occasion will also serve as a fitting prelude to the celebration of the sport's 75th anniversary. throughout the 2025 season.”
Brian Burke, executive producer and creative director of BrianBurkeCreative: “ It’s an incredible honor to continue to partner with Formula 1 to create new entertainment experiences, especially this all-new 2025 season launch event celebrating the sport’s 75th anniversary. Through our collaboration with all 10 teams, fans can be assured that we will deliver a truly exciting live experience combining the unveiling of new liveries, interviews with the biggest names in F1 and cutting-edge entertainment. This will be a unique event not to be missed!”
The other side of the coin is that the tradition of F1, which kept the fans in suspense, day after day, through the presentations, will be completely forgotten this year. We will therefore lose a little of the magic usually experienced, ahead of the off-season tests. It now remains to be determined whether this show is destined to become a model, which will be repeated every year, or whether it is truly a unique and ephemeral event. But we imagine that this will depend on the fans, the enthusiasm generated by the show and the hypothetical attachment of aficionados to the classic mode of presentation…
Answer, therefore, within a few months.
