The Aston Martin F1 team confirmed a few minutes ago that it is parting ways with its current technical director, Dan Fallows.
The two parties jointly announced today that from this November, Dan will no longer be technical director of the Formula 1 team. But he will remain within the group.
“I would like to thank Dan for his contribution to Aston Martin Aramco over the past two years. Dan led the team to success in the AMR23 which achieved eight podiums last season,” note Andy Cowell, PDG du groupe.
“During my time at Aston Martin F1, it has been a joy and privilege to guide the technical team on their journey to race and championship victory. It is time for me to hand over the baton, but I can't wait to see the future success of the team, which I am sure will soon arrive,” adds Dan Fallows.
Fallows will thus give way to Enrico Cardile, who will himself be supervised by Adrian Newey from March 2025.
If Fallows stays “within the group”Aston Martin did not specify which position. Maybe for the upcoming Hypercar project…
