Johann Zarco is preparing for the final race of the 2024 season, which will ultimately take place in Barcelona instead of Valencia as the region in Spain is hit by deadly floods. But as the MotoGP season approaches its end, the Honda rider spoke about this 2024 exercise and he notably mentioned the Marc Márquez case, admitting to having been surprised by the eight-time world champion. So, he said he expected Márquez to win everything this year. But he was therefore surprised to see the Spaniard's adaptation time at Ducati, believing however that the latter will be a serious candidate for the title in 2025.

When we swapped bikes, I said to myself, 'He's going to win everything.' I was surprised that it took him a little while to adjust. Afterwards, well, he has the GP23, and maybe he will dominate next year, but given what he did on the Honda and what he did at the Valencia test, I said to myself ' He's going to win everything. We reviewed a bit of Marc, some errors. He wanted to control himself, and learn how to properly manage this bike, which handles differently, and in fact, even Marc needed time to adapt.“, confided Johann Zarco, who rode a Ducati last year before signing with Honda for this 2024 season. But the resident is certain that Marc Márquez will be a formidable candidate for the title next year and that therefore promises a great battle.
