The ticket office to reserve your places at the 2025 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans opened to ACO members (Automobile Club de l'Ouest) this Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10 a.m. and site internet was literally taken by storm.
A situation which seems to become the norm despite the significant price increases both membership of the association and billets and pitches in campsites. L'endurance automobile in Sarthe remains promised a bright future.
The rush on the 24 Hours of Le Mans ticket office has begun
“It’s been a rush since this morning. I've never seen that. I logged on to the website at 9:15 a.m. with a estimated waiting time of almost 2 hours. The pitches for the Houx campsite were all taken within 20 minutes! », notes a member who finally fell back on the Beauséjour campsite while he hoped to pitch his tent in one of those located within the interior of the circuit.
In less than an hour, all the places of these campsites popular with fans of the premier event of automobile endurance have been reserved.
“There are nearly ten campsites in or near the circuit and at 11:15 a.m., barely an hour after the ticket office opened, there are only places left in the two furthest structures : the Pairie and Hippodrome campsites,” underlines this member.
Quotas put in place for campsites?
He also says he hopes that quotas are put in place and that the general public will be able to have pitches in indoor campsites. “This must legendary race remains the great popular festival that it has always been. »
It is true that since the centenary edition, in 2023, the craze for the Manceau circuit does not deny itself with a new record attendance in June 2024.
“Next year, I will take my morning off. I will go buy my tickets and reserve my campsites directly on the village square on the circuit,” concludes the ACO member, an unconditional fan of the most famous endurance race on the planet.
The date of the official opening of the ticket office to the general public is set for Wednesday November 13, 2024. Online, on site at the circuit or in the official stores in Paris, Tours and Rouen.
