Still according to information from our colleagues, a man was even treated by emergency services without being transferred to hospital. The police then intervened and confined some of the supporters to the top floor of Groupama Stadium.

On X, the Prefecture of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region reacted. “The unacceptable violence committed this evening between supporters, on the sidelines of the OL-Nantes match, calls for exemplary sanctions”. This violence was also condemned by Laurent Prud’homme, the general director of OL. “Violence, whatever it may be, has no place at OL. We very strongly condemn the clashes and attacks which took place in the stadium this afternoon. These events are unworthy of our coat of arms. Olympique Lyonnais must remain united and indivisible”.

Note that the collective of supporters the “Six Nine Pirates” was forced to change location in the stadium (they moved from the south turn to the 3rd floor) in order to avoid clashes last August.
