Magny-Cours hosts the third round of the Coupe de Bourgogne cyclo-cross on Sunday November 17. In fencing, three young swordsmen from the Cercle Escrime are entered in a round of the national M20 circuit.

Charité-Vauzelles postponed to the Regional Cup.

The meeting between La Charité (R2) and Vauzelles (R1), counting for the second round of the Coupe de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, is postponed to Sunday December 15. The Vauzellians (9th, 13 points) will update their schedule, Sunday September 17 (2:30 p.m.), at Is-Selongey (6th, 15 points), a match late from the seventh day.

Three M20s from the Cercle Nevers Escrime in . Laurine Mathieu, William Gawlas and Gabriel Brunet, M20 swordsmen from the Cercle Nevers Escrime, are entered this weekend in Chaumont for the second event of the national circuit.

Petanque

Lucien committed to the National d'Orléans. The proximity of Orléans has encouraged many people from Nivernais to enter the National Triplets Open (Top 500), scheduled for this weekend. Marzyat Emmanuel Lucien (Bourbon-Lancy) will be associated with Romain Zimmermann (Rumilly) and Corentin Robillard (Trégueux).
Among the 100% Nivernais triplets are Jérôme Rypen-Dimitri Heil (Châtillon-en-Bazois)-Damien Lacombe (Pouilly), Christophe Fuseau-Jean-Baptiste Colas (Pouilly)-Michaël Rolland (La Charité).

Cyclo-cross

Margueritat at the start of the Magny-Cours cyclo-cross. The third round of the Coupe de Bourgogne, Sunday, November 17, will take place at Magny-Cours and a circuit laid out… not far from the circuit. Some great people are expected, including Titouan Margueritat (Team Atria). The French amateur road champion will have a lot to do with a few Nivernais, including his teammate Axel Habert, but also Florian Auroux (Guidon Chalettois), Cyrian Merlin and Damien Gazut (). In U17, Julien Breugnot (ex-CC Varennes-Vauzelles) will make his return to Nièvre with the jersey of his new club, Jura Cyclisme Pays du Revermont. The main race will start at 2:30 p.m.

Saturday November 16, at the Maison des sports. The six-person handchair section of the USO Nevers, Hand'Y 58, hosts HE Besançon, Saturday November 16, at 3:30 p.m. at the Maison des Sports de Nevers, as part of the second day of the territorial championship in which it is engaged.

Badminton

Guérigny-Urzy for confirmation. 

The third and fourth days of the regional championship take place on Sunday November 17. Guérigny-Urzy, at the top of its R1 group, travels to Auxerre to face Stade Auxerrois (5th), at 10 a.m., and Chalon-sur-Saône B (3rd), at 2 p.m. In R2, Nevers, which lost its first two matches, will play in Chalon-sur-Saône against Noyers-Ancy-le-Franc (5th), at 10 a.m., and Chalon C (1st), at 2 p.m.

Parabad tournament in Cosne. 

The Cosnois club is organizing a valid and parabad tournament on Saturday November 16 at the René-Cassin gymnasium with 90 valid and 21 parabad participants. For the second year in a row, the Cosnoise event constitutes the first stage of the national challenge of the discipline.

Swimming

Place for interclubs.

The region's biggest collective event takes place this weekend from Saturday November 16 to Sunday November 17. The interclub championship is the competition bringing together the greatest number of teams of ten individuals counting for the national club ranking.

The departmental pool will be hosted at the Îlot Corail swimming pool in Vauzelles on Saturday, November 16, while the regional pool will take place on Sunday, November 17, in Auxerre. Twelve is the number of teams who will dive into the Vauzelli basin on Saturday November 16, i.e. no less than one hundred and twenty participants spread over five clubs.

Unheard of at the departmental level for thirty years from a quantity point of view. Decize, Vauzelles, Cosne and La Charité will each have a girls' team and a boys' team while the largest team composition will be allocated to CN Nevers with five teams, including two girls' teams and three boys' teams.

Concerning the regional group, two clubs will represent Nièvre: La Charité with its women's team, led by its spearhead Salomé Cortet, and CN Nevers with its women's team and its men's team. The two clubs will have two different objectives: the first will be to consolidate its place at the regional level while the second will try to maintain its 4th place for the women and will strive to raise its men's team into the top 5.

At the individual level, it will be necessary to monitor the grid of departmental records and the times, because this collective event often transcends a few individuals.
