After Remco Evenepoel (2021) and Wout Van Aert (2023), the Coppa Bernocchi crowned another Belgian this Monday in Legnano, in the suburbs of Milan. Stan Van Tricht (Alpecin-Deceuninck) indeed won the very first professional victory of his career, beating the Frenchman Axel Baudin (Decathlon-AG2R) and the Spaniard Roger Adria (Red Bull-Bora) in the sprint. The 25-year-old rider performed perfectly on this Italian semi-classic, in which several big names took part (Evenepoel, Hirschi, Roglic) in preparation for the Tour of Lombardy on Saturday.
