On public roads, on the roads, on the coast: we will have to be extra vigilant this Friday, January 24! Indeed, strong gusts of wind (up to 100 km/h, on the Côte d'Opale!), will hit the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais.
Violent winds in Nord-Pas-de-Calais: storm Éowyn to blame
These winds will in fact be the “residue” of the Storm Éowyn which will hit Ireland, England and Scotlandfrom this Thursday evening, indicates Météo France. There, the wind could blow up to 150 km/h.

In this context, the Nord and Pas-de-Calais are therefore placed on yellow alert for violent winds. Be careful!
