We now know everything about the 9th edition of the Tour of Provence…or rather CIC Tour de La Provencethe new official name of the French stage race! One month before the start of the southern race, which will take place over three days from February 14 to 16, the organizers held a press conference this Tuesday, January 14 in the presence of the spokesperson for the event Thomas Voeckler to discuss in detail this 2025 edition, which must be that of confirmation after a successful return last year. In addition to the complete route between Marseille and Arles, the big novelty therefore lies in this change of name. THE CICmain partner of the event in 2024 and already visible on the leader's jersey, is strengthening its commitment by associating its name with the event. Now titled the CIC Tour de La Provencethe event will bear this name in 2025 and 2026.

By taking over the reins of this major sporting event, the group is ensuring controlled and responsible management. Illustration of this reasoned approach: the move to a format of 3 days of competition in 2025, compared to 4 in 2024. This change reflects a necessary adaptation to a post-Olympic Gamesmarked by exceptional support from companies for this global event, mechanically limiting their commitments in other areas.
