But in the organization chart, Anthony Baré does not replace in the narrow sense Grégory Baugé. The latter held the position of “national coach” (or “head coach” in official terminology) who oversaw training in Saint-Quentin-en- and selection for the French team. From now on, there will be “two very different entities which are the French Olympic sprint pole, in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, where I will be coach, and the French team on the other hand, explains Anthony Baré. The pool of runners that we will have in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines will help supply the French team. My role will be to help the athletes from the pole to perform, to meet the selection criteria of the French team to make these colors of the French team shine. »
