46th CYCLO-CROSS of MONTBRON-EYMOUTHIERS (16)

ORGANISATION : UA LA ROCHEFOUCAULD

Speakers : Daniel Mangeas, Roland Bissirieix and Jean Luc Prévot.

Succeeding in such an elaborate poster with professional riders for a cyclo-cross on this date is not easy! Internships, cuts, etc., you have to understand, do not make their participation easier. Despite the unfavorable weather, Jean Louis and Marcelle Moréliéras succeeded, the public will not complain!

There were around forty of them in the main race to start for the traditional hour of racing on the famous Chambon outdoor center circuit.

Joshua Dubau (Van Rysel CX Racing Team Team Peltrax)s’impose !

2 Tom Mainguenaud 3 Lucas Dubau 4 Thomas Bonnet 5 Arnold Jeannesson …..

——————————

What a great race!!! Despite the deplorable weather conditions, the runners offered a magnificent show to the public, perhaps fewer than expected, but who were able to appreciate it.

No luck for Gabin Gauthier, the junior upgraded following his results in the French Cups in his category, the race ended after 500 meters. Broken chain, direction the station, the climb back up was impossible….

From the first meters the duo Tom Mainguenaud-Joshua Dubau took the lead and never left it despite the resistance of Lucas Dubau, Thomas Bonnet, Arnold Jeannesson, Mathieu Morichon etc….

Each in turn tried to outdistance the other, the fight was magnificent…. Finally Joshua Dubau the winner of the 7th round of the Coupe de last weekend had the last word.

2 years after Lucas his brother and his victory, the Dubau seem to like the course of the Chambon Outdoor Center, Joshua adds his name to the list of winners of the event dear to Maxime Aupy.

Jean Louis and Marcelle Moréliéras fully assume responsibility for the rest of an event which this year received a participation worthy of the best years.

It was also an opportunity for Lilian Calmejane and Kévin Ledanois to say goodbye to the professional world.

Winning podium, Vitorie Guilman 1st lady
