We are already almost in 2025, marking the first quarter of the 21st century! Cyclism’Actu decided to take advantage of this opportunity to highlight the riders who have left their mark on Cycling since the early 2000s. We have developed our “Top 10 of the century” in various categories, from climbers to adventurers, in passing through the rollers, the classics specialists and the punchers. And of course, we will close in style with our top 10 in all categories for ladies and men! To get us started, it was logical to start with the sprinters, these special runners, real big thighs of the peloton, which transform into killers approaching the finish line. Of Koos Moerenhoutfirst winner of a sprint in the 21st century during the 1st stage of the Tour Down Under, has Matevz Govekarlast winner of the 2024 season at Tour de Guangximany stars have distinguished themselves over the years. But we only had to choose 10, and some choices might surprise you. Here is the verdict!
