His “attention to detail is of a higher level”
Since the start of his professional road career in 2021 with INEOS Grenadiers, Tom Pidcock has never missed a single cyclo-cross season. However, a few months before starting his fifth season on the road bike, the Briton preferred to give up plowing, to concentrate 100% on his new team. “His attention to detail is next level” explained Doug Ryder. “He focuses on every millimeter: on the positioning and setup of the bike, on the nutrition, on the race program, on the training. He met with all the leaders of our team… the head coach, the chief nutritionist, the chief physician, the performance manager.“A commitment and professionalism inevitably appreciated by the Swiss team and its general manager. “He really wants to rally the whole team to his side, which is something I haven’t seen from some great leaders in the past, he really impressed our riders.”
