“Speaking of UCI points, I never want to see this team with one guy finishing fourth, one eleventh and another nineteenth just to score a bunch of points. For me, it's kind of a cynical way to run.”, commented Vaughters. “What I want to see is that the whole team is behind someone, or that there is a plan for someone to win the race. Even if the odds are totally against it, and even if the whole team blows up and we get zero UCI points because we got blown out and our best rider placed 84th, it doesn't matter.
