Swiss Cycling, the Swiss federation, is launching its Continental Women for the 2025 season. The team called Nexetis will bring together eleven elements, including Jamsin Liechti, Jasmin Liechti vice-World Champion Hopes of time trial. Three Japanese women, advised by Daniel Gisiger, former national track coach in Switzerland, will join this group.
“At the moment, our promising road cars cannot find their place to progress. There is no international team that gives Swiss cyclists a chance“, explains Thomas Peter, director of Swiss Cycling.
The team is led by Anna Wiese, from the World Cycling Center and Edi Telser who also works for the Swiss federation where she is head coach of the national team.
