Pogacar wins title in another famous sport

is apparently not the only discipline in which Tadej Pogačar excels. The Slovenian from UAE Team Emirates recently demonstrated his talent on a padel court, winning a friendly tournament organized for cyclists by his manager Alex Carera, as reported by Cyclisme Actu. The event, orchestrated by the management agency A&J All Sports, brought together several professional runners in a friendly atmosphere. Every fall, the A&J All Sports agency, which manages the interests of many cyclists, organizes a special evening for its athletes. This year, at Pogačar's request, a padel tournament was added to the program. The competition brought together other cyclists, including Giulio Ciccone, Davide Formolo, Maxim Van Gils, Lorenzo Milesi and Alberto Bruttomesso, who competed in doubles.

A winning duo with Grossschartner

Paired with teammate Felix Grossschartner, Tadej Pogačar showed that he was not only a legendary runner, but also a formidable opponent with a racket in hand. The duo impressed from the first exchanges. Pogačar, true to his image, left nothing to chance: he sported a racket specially designed in the colors of the rainbow jersey and marked with his own logo. The Slovenian-Austrian duo completed the different stages of the tournament brilliantly, until qualifying for the final. Opposed to Lorenzo Milesi and Alberto Bruttomesso, Pogačar and Grossschartner delivered a top performance, winning 6-2 to clinch the trophy. The Slovenian continues to show the full extent of his talent regardless of the sport practiced.
