The Langres Vélo-club organized, yesterday Sunday, November 17, its traditional Cyclo-cross of the Sports and Gymnastics Federation of Work (FSGT), on the Eponine Park course. More than a hundred participants competed in the various events.
For Jean-Marc Journiac, the month of November is definitely as dense as a flat stage peloton of the Tour de France. “Two weeks ago, it was the Cyclo-cross des remparts, today (Editor's note: Sunday November 17), it is that of the FSGT in Eponine and, on December 1, we will organize that of Saints-Geosmes . In the meantime, we will have our general assembly…” smiled the president of the Langres Vélo-club (VLC). Delighted to see, yesterday, on the wooded course located near Place Eponine, that participants and the public were there for the event.
“It’s an FSGT race, so you don’t necessarily need to be licensed to participate. There are 70 registered for the various adult races and there were children's races. We are therefore generally satisfied with the number of practitioners,” explained Jean-Marc Journiac. Cycling enthusiasts and simple passers-by followed all the races with pleasure, also taking advantage of the snack stand and the refreshment bar conveniently offered by the Langrois Vélo-club.
The next cyclo-cross will therefore take place in Saints-Geosmes, Sunday December 1st.
