The Cyclo-Club de Lectoure presents its most sincere condolences to Cathy, Sébastien, Jérôme and all the family and friends, to say goodbye to Michel Crépieux. Michel, for Lectoure cycle tourists, was a close, faithful friend, always in an even mood.
It's a club that Michel joined in the 1990s, with Alain Vavassori and Henri Latron, who left too early at 67. Michel has more than 30 years of loyalty to the association with roles in the management of the structure, first as treasurer, then as co-president with Pierre Naglin, from 2012 to 2015.
Michel had created and remained in charge of the club's IT site. He also retraced its history, from its creation to the present day.
Finally, Michel organized the outing in 2023, in Tarascon in Ariège, the town of his childhood. The Gersois had recognized the campsite, the restaurant with Alain and Simone, and had concocted two superb circuits: the Passejade de l'Ariegeoise and the Ridge Route. The stay ended in Cathy and Michel's mobile home with a meal, where all the cyclists sang in Occitan.
The Lectourois cyclists mourn more than a colleague but a close friend, on whom they could always count. “Adishatz Michel”.
