A first professional victory in 2024
From his first professional year, he participated in the Vueltawhere he had a remarkable end to the race, as evidenced by his climb of Angliru (22nd place) during the last week. This year, however, a knee problem prevented him from starting 2024 as he wanted. But his efforts were finally rewarded during the Classic Terres de l'Ebrewhere he inaugurated his professional record with an impressive solo victory. A heroic victory, despite the cramps felt in the final part of the ascent of Mont Caro. Now fully recovered, Balderstone hopes to continue to progress with Caja Rural-Seguros RGAa structure of which he has been a part since his passage through the elite and hopeful category.
