Ornézan. Cycling: news from the ACO which is switching to winter mode

It's the end of the season in the Federation calendar: the ACO therefore goes into winter mode but the different sections continue to be active in maintaining each other. For adults, the section is still active with small group outings on Sunday mornings and/or weekday outings for young retirees. On Sunday October 6, the section was present at the hike in tribute to Nicolas Portal: Cédric and Alexandre on the 50 km circuit and Philipe, Jérôme and Jean-Pierre on the 100 km. The circuit was very difficult this year with 1,600 m of altitude difference on the 100 km circuit. On October 19, the section was present for the closing day of the Codep in Mauvezin. Despite unfavorable weather, a small group of enthusiasts met for a 50 km outing.

On Saturday October 5, the mountain bike section was also present at the Nicolas Portal hike on a slippery and greasy 55 km circuit. Recently, Manu took part in the Saint-Puy firefighters' hike.

As for walking, the women's team was present for the Pink October days, firstly in Monferran-Plavès on October 6 and in Auterrive on October 13 for a 10 km loop.

The show on Saturday, October 6, “Faut Caser Papa”, well organized by the walking section team, was a full house. The club's AGM will take place in the town hall on Friday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m., with the election of the new office on the agenda. An aperitif dinner will close the evening.

Schedule: Saturday, November 23, meeting of Codep 32 club presidents in Jegun. The date must be confirmed.
