Track cycling legend Chris Hoy announces his cancer is “terminal”

Knighted by the Queen of England, Hoy is the father of two children aged 7 to 10 and began chemotherapy in November 2023. By revealing his cancer, the Scot assured that the treatment “was going very well and he was optimistic”but in reality, it was already terminal. The disease metastasized to his bones, shoulder, pelvis, ribs and spine. Hoy had commentated on the track events at the Olympics for the BBC.
