A serious contender for the world title in the espoir category, Paul Magnier (20 years old) had to give up the World Championships in Switzerland because of a violent fall that occurred on the Tour of Great Britain on September 8th. In an interview given to The Team the Soudal-Quick-Step sprinter admits he doesn’t remember anything.

“The Black Screen”

“I have vague memories from before the race but the day itself and the day after, it’s a black screen. And that will never come back.”says the Frenchman. After a remarkable first season with Soudal Quick-Step, Paul Magnier is already looking towards 2025, the year of confirmation after five victories in 2024. The Texas native hopes to return to competition at the end of January or beginning of February 2025.
