Titouan Margueritat, Clement Petit And Justin Ducretthe strong men of last weekend. On Saturday, at the GP des Vins Nouveaux in Vesdun, it was the VC 76 rider, Clément Petit, who won at the finish ahead of Yannick Martinez (Team-Atria-Montluçon-Cyclisme) and Louis Hardouin (Guidon Chalettois). This event, which brought together an impressive peloton of 130 riders, was contested at a very fast pace and the rest of the breakaway managed to keep a few lengths on a wild peloton regulated by Antoine Roussel (EC St Etienne-). Thanks to this victory, VC Rouen 76, led on this Boischaut-Marche round by Jean-Philippe Yon, kept its 1st place in the team classification at Raymond Poulidor Challenge.

At the Saint-Amand Montrond GP held this Sunday, the VC Rouen 76 member, Clément Petit, once again won the sprint in this round of the Raymond Poulidor Challenge and ahead, once again, of Yannick Martinez and Damien Bonetto (Team-Atria-Montluçon-Cyclisme). So, 24 hours after the Vesdun GP, we find the same protagonists on the podium. It is worth noting the fine 4th place of Killian Théot (VC Rouen 76) who collects 4 small points for the individual classification of the challenge and comes back to 4 points from the leader who is still the Aixois Clément Izquierdo.

Another event run at an average speed of nearly 46 km/h, the GP de Nogent-sur-Oise, a UCI class 1.2 event counting towards the Raymond Poulidor Challenge, ended in a mass sprint. Despite numerous breakaway attempts, the verdict of this GP de Nogent-sur-Oise (organized by Alain Mathieu and his entire team) ended with a magnificent finale where the fast rider Justin Ducret won ahead of Yacine Hamza (Madar Pro-Cycling-Team) and Ronan Augé (Groupama-FDJ Continental).

It should be noted that the victory of the Dijon rider allows his club to collect 40 points (UCI race requires) and to enter the Top 5 of the individual ranking. However, the team leaders of the Raymond Poulidor Challenge, VC Rouen 76 managed to integrate two of its riders into the top 15, allowing them to bring back valuable points to maintain the leadership of the challenge.

A Blue-White-Red Raymond Poulidor Challenge round!

And then, Titouan Margueritat (Team-Atria-Montluçon-Cyclisme) won, this Monday, the 80th edition of the Circuit des Deux Ponts in Culan (Cher), fourth round of the Challenge Boischaut-Marche. After 95.2 kilometers of racing, the French Champion beat Louis Hardouin (Guidon Chalettois) and Axel Chatelus (EC Saint-Etienne Loire) in the sprint. Titouan Margueritat succeeds Rémi Capron in the Elite National event. At the end of this event, Clément Izquierdo (AVC Aix-en-Provence) remains leader of the individual classification ahead of Killian Théot (VC Rouen 76), by just 4 small points. As for the team classification of the Raymond Poulidor Challenge. VC Rouen 76 keeps the lead ahead of SCO Dijon and AVC Aix-en-Provence. Clearly, the Raymond Poulidor Challenge will keep us in suspense until the end.
