The 8th edition of ZEVENT, the largest online charity event in France, ended on Sunday with a prize pool of 10,145,881 euros for five associations fighting against poverty.

Launched by a concert at the Zénith in Montpellier on Thursday evening, the marathon organized by French streamer ZeratoR and his right-hand man Alexandre Dachary began on Friday at 6 p.m., broadcast on the Twitch platform.

For more than 50 hours, around thirty internet personalities took turns playing video games, answering quizzes and setting each other challenges.

With the aim of raising funds for five associations, including Secours Populaire, Bureaux du cœur and Solidarité Paysans, in conjunction with the Fondation de France.

After a one-year break, this edition brought together streamers like Kameto, Ladysundae and AVAMind, the host of the talk show “Popcorn” Domingo and the host Samuel Étienne.

They were joined online by about 100 others, reflecting the 100 streams with the most hours viewed over the past year, according to the organization.

Comedian Laura Felpin and the Lebrun brothers, who shone at the Olympic Games in table tennis, also took part.

ZEVENT brings together on average between 500,000 and one million spectators.

Since its first edition in 2016, then named “Project Avengers”, this fundraising campaign has raised more than 31 million euros.

It has raised more than 10 million euros in the last three editions, in 2021 (€10,064,480), 2022 (€10,182,126, the record) and 2024.

According to ZeratoR, the money raised has, for example, enabled the Sea Shepherd association to buy a new boat or to finance the operation of a hospital in Central Africa.
