Cruise ship brings nearly 3,000 international tourists to Ha Long
The liner Costa Serena, flying the Italian flag, carrying nearly 3,000 passengers and more than a thousand crew members, docked on September 30 at the international port of Ha Long, in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

The ship is among the largest international cruise ships arriving in Ha Long this year, marking a significant footprint for the local tourism sector.
According to the program, cruise passengers, mainly from Chinese-speaking countries and territories, will visit Ha Long Bay, city sights and the urban center, before leaving the port at 6 p.m. the same day.
According to forecasts, the Costa Serena will return to Ha Long with new groups of international tourists on October 14 and 18, as well as November 4 and 8.
According to the provincial Tourism Department, Ha Long plans to welcome between 60 and 70 liners in 2024, carrying around 70,000 cruise passengers, with particularly large numbers at the end of the year.

Ha Long is establishing itself as a popular destination for international tourists at the end of the year. Cruise tourism, in particular, is showing encouraging signs of recovery.
The cruise season in Ha Long usually runs from November to April of the following year. The 2024 season has started with favorable signs, with many prestigious and familiar cruise ships such as Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Azamara, and Mein Schiff 5 returning to Ha Long from January to April.
It should be noted that The Worlda US-flagged ship, was the first luxury cruise ship to return for an extended stay in Ha Long.
The latter carried more than 170 cruise passengers, mainly millionaires and billionaires from the United States and Europe, for a four-day stay in Ha Long.
