On Wednesday, September 4, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was a guest on conservative news channel Fox News for a public interview in one of the key states in the election, Pennsylvania. The former president took the opportunity to review his arguments against his Democratic rival, Kamala Harris, just days before a highly anticipated televised debate between the two protagonists.

This is one of those interviews that Donald Trump likes best: an entrance on stage like a political rally, cheered by his galvanized audience; a Fox News set relocated to a key state and questions served by one of his biggest supporters, Sean Hannity, evening star of the most-watched conservative network in the world UNITED STATES.

In this state of Pennsylvania, the second largest producer of gas and oil in the country, the Republican candidate promises to relaunch the production of fossil energy using the highly contested technique of ” fracking “This method of hydraulic fracturing consists of injecting a fluid at very high pressure into the rock to extract the hydrocarbons. However, many reserves exist, particularly because this process is very water-intensive and can cause small-scale seismic shocks.
