After unforgettable Olympic and Paralympic Games, the summer of Paris 2024 came to a close with a final party at the Stade de France. The epilogue of 46 days of emotions and celebration, where France united around sport and established itself as a reference for the Games to come.

The loops are closed. The Paris Games were officially launched on July 26 with an opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in the rain. They ended with the closing ceremony of the Paralympics in the same weather. They opened with an image of the empty Stade de France. They ended in a Dionysian stadium packed to the rafters, with an electro party like no other.

Between the two, 49 days where Paris and France showed themselves in their best light to host the most beautiful global sports festival in the most French way possible, with art, style, panache and the spectacular.

“Tonight, no one wants the Games to end,” Tony Estanguet conceded in his closing speech. Before promising: “If these Games were ephemeral, the memory of this historic summer will remain engraved in us.”
