The boss of X and Tesla is accused of having made a Nazi salute during the inauguration of the new President of the United States, Donald Trump, on January 20. Questioned by his fans, his ex-partner gave her vision of things.

For several months, Grimes has been increasing attacks against her ex-spouse Elon Musk. The singer, mother of three children with the boss of X and Tesla, has in fact harbored a certain resentment since the latter allegedly prevented her from seeing her children. The former couple was until then in a legal battle for parental custody, Grimes having however denounced an unequal confrontation in the face of the fortune of the richest man in the world. It is therefore on social networks, her only weapon, she says, that she now criticizes her ex-partner, a loyal supporter of Donald Trump and who could not be closer to power, with a series of tweets and invectives against him.

Following Elon Musk’s controversial gesture during the inauguration of the new President of the United States, this Monday, January 20, with some accusing him of having performed a “Nazi salute”, Grimes spoke via the social networks. Asked by a fan what she thought of the situation, Grimes initially said that she had not heard of the controversy, specifying that she had to take the time to think. She also wanted to clarify one thing: “I am not him. And I will not make a statement at each of his appearances. I can only send love to those who are suffering.”

Unfailing admiration

However, after a few hours, she finally gave her opinion: “I am happy to denounce Nazism – and the far right. I don’t know if this sentence will suit you. I just got out of breakfast and have to catch a flight, and I’m still wondering how to approach things diplomatically because I feel overwhelmed. But if this raises concerns, I’m happy to set the record straight.”

Donald Trump was sworn in at the White House for the second time, becoming the 47th president of the United States. During the inauguration, Elon Musk, his new superally (and major financial supporter), was present with his new partner, Shivon Zilis. A few minutes before his gesture, he had expressed his joy at seeing the politician return to leadership of the country, greeting his supporters: “I want to thank you for making this happen. Thank you. My heart goes out to you. THANKS.”
