Without even thinking about it, I can write a list of a hundred friends who lost their homes. I almost feel guilty walking around my house wondering what I can do. How can I help? What can I offer? What do I have to offer with these hands, these walls and the security I have?“. Ambassador of the organization Save The Children, she declared that her teams “will be in shelters helping parents and children keep themselves safe and their social and emotional lives…we will be there in a big way very, very soon“.

During the interview, the ex-wife of Ben Affleck and mother of Violet Anne (born December 1, 2005), Seraphina Rose Elizabeth (born January 6, 2009) and Samuel Garner (born February 27, 2012) explained lived in Palisades for about 25 years and also lost his church, destroyed by fire. “This is my family’s church. This is where my children went on Sundays. We lit the Advent candle there together a few weeks ago. (…) It is a central element of our community“, she said sorry. “The people are strong and the sense of community is strong. We will look out for each other, and we still do. It’s stronger than ever“, she concluded with great hope.
