Like Lætitia Hallyday the day before, Patrick Bruel announced this Friday, January 10, 2025 on Instagram that he had lost his villa, due to the violent fires that have been ravaging Los Angeles, California, for several days. They have already caused at least ten deaths.

“The only assurance to which we cannot subscribe is that of emotion, of memories, of objects, of perfumes… And of the silences which surrounded this house which goes up in smoke”, writes the French singer by publishing images of the flames.

Like that of Lætitia Hallyday, Patrick Bruel’s house is located in the Pacific Palisades district. In his post, the singer mentions his children in particular: “She was so important to us for 8 years… Oscar was 13, Léon 11, when we arrived… It’s very hard to see the roots that we have so much disappear hard to build. »

It was a nice anchor, another refuge. This evening I am necessarily thinking of the victims, of my friends, of my neighbors, and of all those who lost everything in this disaster as in so many others in recent years. God bless our firefighters everywhere and always.

A heavy toll

The Californian city is still engulfed in flames. A new report this Friday shows at least ten deaths and 7,700 hectares ravaged by fire.

Currently, “more than 7,500” firefighters, some from other American states, are mobilized.
