“There’s nothing left. I saw our house go to ashes, helpless in the face of the flames that took everything away. This video haunts my heart. It wasn’t just a house… It was our refuge, our rebirth after the chaos of mourning, it was within these walls that we healed our wounds, that we learned to live with absence, to rebuild days lit by love despite the shadow of loss. Everything has disappeared. …and with it, a part of my soul. The grief is endless,” she confided on Instagram.

With the destruction of a hundred luxury residences costing millions of dollars, the fire there would be the costliest ever recorded: the damage was estimated at 57 billion dollars (55 billion euros) by AccuWeather.
