Loana surprised her followers on Instagram by posting a rare photo of her daughter Mindy when she was a baby. An adorable souvenir photo which reflects the mother's nostalgia, but which may not be unanimously appreciated by her daughter, with whom relations are strained.
A tender memory of a nostalgic mother
This Saturday, November 30, 2024, Loana moved her community by sharing a very personal photo on her Instagram account. In this photo, we can see the Loft Story winner, then 21 years old, tenderly holding her daughter Mindy who was just a baby at the time.
In the caption, the ex-lofteuse wrote these touching words: “I was 21 years old my love baby Mindy, my blood, my flesh I LOVE YOU. It's my greatest pride.“A message of unconditional love from a mother to her daughter, with whom relations have been complicated for many years.
A complex and distant mother-daughter relationship
Mindy, born when her famous mother was 20, was placed in DDASS shortly after her birth, due to the personal difficulties Loana encountered at the time. This early separation established a distance between mother and daughter which never really resolved over time.
Mindy, who in 2017 became a mother to little Maelysse, never introduced her daughter to Loana, preferring to “keep for her“.
Loana’s delicate media return
This virtual declaration of love from Loana comes a few days after her highly commented reappearance in the show Face à Hanouna, on November 16, 2024. The fifty-something, who experienced very dark periods marked by her addictions to alcohol and drugs as well as overweight problems, assured to have “put it all aside“.
“We're not going to say that it happens in a month. For a few months, no one saw me. I had to get back into shape“, she confided to Cyril Hanouna. A return to the spotlight which is visibly accompanied by a need to reconnect with her past and the people who mattered, starting with her daughter Mindy. It remains to be seen how the latter will react to this souvenir photo made public.
