A liberal nurse in the Lot, the candidate trains every day after her tour and during the weekends at the Question club for a champion, near Brive.

Her thing is . It's been like this since she was a kid. Marie Pierre De Sousa first watched television for a long time, with her family, before appearing on screen for the first time at the age of 22. La Lotoise then participated in Question pour un champion. “I have always loved games, general knowledge questions and quizzes. I started with Question for a Champion but I didn't stop there. I participated in this show eight times then I did the Super champion, then Slam, then the Grand Slam, Nobody had thought of it with my husband…”, says the liberal nurse who lives in Souillac. Julien Lepers, Samuel Etienne, Cyril Féraud… The presenters come and go, Marie-Pierre De Sousa always comes back. Currently, she is in Duels en famille on France 3. This is the first time that she has brought her family with her on a set. “It was my mother who had the idea when she saw the casting announcement last year,” remembers the 46-year-old from Lotoise who works in Salignac, in Dordogne.

Luck favors the De Sousa family and here is Marie-Pierre with her husband Jack, her mother Catherine and her daughter Eléonore facing Cyril Féraud, in front of the cameras of France 3. After 25 years of participation in TV games, it is a first flight for Marie-Pierre who had never before experienced this adventure surrounded by her family. In fact, for her, it is even a “consecration”. “With my husband, I have already participated in a show and it turns out that we didn't shine too much! This time, with my mother and my daughter it's like a little extra thing”, specifies -she. Filming took place on September 19 and the five shows were recorded during the day. His patients never miss a single show

Suffice to say that Marie-Pierre is like a fish to water. “We play against a team from and we compete on questions of geography, songs, vocabulary, politics, in short general culture,” she explains. Not to spoil anything, Cyril Féraud, the host, often slips in nods to the Lot department which he particularly likes. “He had made the treasure map here and had very good memories of it. In front of the public, we talked about the Padirac chasm, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and the Champollion museum,” she adds.

From now on, the nurse allows herself to dream bigger. She would like to apply for Don't forget the lyrics. “I do karaoke every night in front of the show. The only problem is that I really don't have the singing level and I don't have time to learn so many songs. The cast is great difficult,” she confides. Never mind: Lotoise is starting to revise. So, maybe one day… In the meantime, his patients don't miss any of his appearances on screen. And to be sure of it, Marie-Pierre turns on their televisions on France 3, during her tour. “They love seeing me on TV, tell me that I have good makeup, good hair, they also ask me if Cyril Féraud is nice,” she smiles. In her free time, she is also president of the Question pour un champion club in Cosnac, near Brive. And in the evening, after her nursing tour, she takes online quizzes. It's simple: Marie-Pierre eats, drinks and breathes TV games.
