According to the three-time world champion, Teddy Riner had to deal with a sex-hungry partner, even before the competitions.
If most of the heroes of the Games have returned to competition like Léon Marchand, Félix Lebrun or Antoine Dupont, Teddy Riner will have to wait until next winter to make his comeback in the spotlight. He has nonetheless returned to training, even if it is not yet very intensive. Enough to allow him to enjoy his family but also the pleasures of life, culinary or otherwise.
Present on the set of Quelle époque! last winter, Teddy Riner had also raised the question of intimate relationships before competitions with Léa Salamé. And according to him, he is rather in favor of abstinence when the fateful day approaches even if he had to make a few departures from his habits when he was in a relationship with his previous partner.

« When I was young, I sometimes said no before the competition, but I was with a crazy woman at the time,” he said, provoking laughter from Léa Salamé and the other guests. “She will recognize herself… I told her: ‘No, no. I have the final tomorrow, I can’t'”, he continued, himself describing his behavior as“self-centered”.
The relationship between the two did not last, however, and Teddy Riner has been in a relationship with Luthna Plocus for fifteen years, with whom he had two children, Eden, born in 2014, and Isis, who arrived in the world in 2018. The couple was encountered when the young woman, after obtaining a BTS in management in 2006, joined the communications center of the Lagardère Unlimited group, in the department dedicated to sport. But quickly, a new career offered itself to the young woman, who had become a model.
