Kerry King wants Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to play him in a movie

Thrash metal legend Kerry King, co-founder of Slayer, has revealed the two action icons he would like to see play him in a biopic. Among his choices: WWE star turned successful actor, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Vin Diesel or The Rock: Kerry King dreams big for his biopic

In an interview with Metal Hammer, Kerry King answered the question of who could play him on screen if a film about his life were to be made. King, who recently performed with Slayer at the Aftershock festival, discussed two big names in action cinema.

“The only one who vaguely fits the description is Vin Diesel,” he explained. “But if we go in that direction, we could also say The Rock, even if I’m not as gigantic as him! That would be awesome, though. I’m going to say The Rock, because I really like the films he’s in.”

It seems that King, although he does not consider himself on the same physical scale as the former WWE Champion, is seduced by the idea of seeing his role played by a figure as charismatic as Dwayne Johnson, who made sensation during the last Wrestlemania.
