Marlène Schiappa earns “much more” today
After leaving her position as Secretary of State in charge of the Social and Solidarity Economy and Community Life, Marlène Schiappa operated a shift towards the media. Last September, she joined the cast of the show Estelle Midi on RMC and RMC Story. She no longer hesitates to respond to requests from various television sets.

In the show presented by Jordan De Luxe, she had also confided in a sexual assault, when she was allegedly kissed by force by a well-known personality, in her office. And the former Secretary of State had also mentioned that his income before politics was higher than those she received from the government. She then claimed to touch “7000 and something net” per month as minister, but explained that she had earned “a little over 10,000 euros” per month before entering politics.
If Marlène Schiappa has never hidden her transparency concerning her income, the details revealed by Liberation show that she did not lose in the change upon leaving government office. As our colleagues point out, a Secretary of State earns around 10,000 euros gross per month. And his new sources of income, whether through his television columns or his copyrights, would now allow him to receive an even more comfortable salary.
