Guillaume Canet grew up in Yvelines, and he has known Jean Dujardin since childhood. In fact, they spent their CM1 in the same class, at Plaisir primary school. And according to his confidences, they were not “pots” right away.

In fact, the actor says that he was “broken collarbone during a fight”. Jean Dujardin’s childhood friend “tripped” which had serious consequences… And if Guillaume Canet suffered after-effects, the brat who attacked him became the godfather of Jean Dujardin’s son!
In fact, Guillaume Canet encountered him again later. And he testifies: “It’s funny because we saw each other again a few years ago and I said to him: ‘You really are a bastard because since then I’ve had a lot of problems with this collarbone which has become crooked’”.
A friendship that came later
With Jean Dujardin, however, the rivalry transformed over the years into friendship. Guillaume Canet has since made two films with him, “The little handkerchiefsas well as “The infidels“. We also met them with their wives, Nathalie Péchalat and Marion Cotillard, on a 4-person outing, notably at Roland Garros.
