Guillaume Canet talks about his old struggles

I did a lot of combat sports. (…) I did judo, I did boxing for 15 years, I did karate, taekwondo” he confided before returning to a memorable memory. “I almost had a real health problem because I got into a fight with a boy at school. At one point, I slammed my head into his stomach, he twisted my neck and he broke two necks and one was not far from the spinal cord so I could have been unwell” he explained. Although this event was significant for him, he no longer remembered the reasons for this altercation. “I don’t know, he must have made fun of me, he must have pissed me off, I don’t know” he said.

He was also asked about the last time he fought. “It was a long time ago on the street in . I found myself in a car with people who were very excited in it and who cornered me against another car, who hadn’t seen me, so I honked the horn. They looked for me a little, it escalated” he remembered.
