“The Great Cactus” very present
Thanks to a mix of recognized actors (Freddy TougauxZidani, Bruno Coppens, Martin CharlierLes Décaféinés…) and emerging artists (Lorenzo Mancini, Sacha Ferra, Ilona…), but also with the support of other artists such as K’Danse and the Drag-Queen Espressa&Grasse, the line-up will be particularly strong for these shows presented at Royal Theater of Mons by David Jeanmotte himself and his sidekick from “Grand Cactus” Livia Dushkoff. Fans of the legendary RTBF show will see a certain number of known faces since the godfather of the project is none other than Jérôme de Warzée.
The previous “Restos du Rire” had met with great success, allowing the birth of several initiatives. In two years, a restaurant will be opened in Mons. Ambition, however, is only growing in the ranks of organizers. “I would like to see with the mayor of the city of Brussels, Philippe Close, to set up somethingING Arena“, underlines David Jeanmotte. “We could start with the comedians and end with singing with, perhaps, Angèle or Stromae and, finally, with a DJ.” An idea which, according to the person who is also behind the “Mons, coeur en neige” event, would allow us to give 10,000 euros to all the restaurants in the heart of Belgium.
