With more than fifty years of career behind her, Evelyne Dhéliat is one of those personalities who needs no introduction. Working on the weather forecast for TF1 since 1991, the widow of Philippe Maraninchi has cut her teeth since her debut on television in 1975, taking responsibility for everything in front of viewers, until her breast cancer in 2012. Forced to reveal her illness to her viewers, was Evelyne Dhéliat also forced to go under the knife to maintain the public’s love throughout these years? Not in the least, even if she confided to Gala this Thursday January 16 that she had already thought about it.
Indeed, the director of the TF1 weather service admitted to our colleagues that she had never given Botox injections out of fear, but had already thought about which part of her body she would want to change if she had to go under the scalpel. “I might have redone my nose because it’s a slide with little bumps,” revealed Ange Noiret’s colleague, at the same time sliding her finger over her nose. A comparison that would certainly have pleased Cyrano de Bergerac, but which did not convince Evelyne Dhéliat to take the plunge. “No, but I’m just kidding, I have no complexes, I take complete responsibility,” assured TF1’s oldest weather miss, to the delight of her fans.
