Like their friends the previous week, Ebony and Franck had the chance to leave the castle for a day to go to their hometown. Tuesday January 14, Ebony was able to enjoy this very special day. She found her family, including her father, the singer Thierry Cham, but also her mother, who came as a surprise from Martinique where she lives. The 20-year-old young woman also gave a concert in front of the town hall of her town, Île-Saint-Denis, in the Paris region, where she notably performed Creep by Radiohead, at the request of her audience. This Wednesday, January 15, it was this time Franck’s turn to escape from the castle, for a day.

The 23-year-old young man went to Bagneux, in the Paris region, where he was able to meet his fans, who came in large numbers to support him. Originally from Congo, Franck arrived in France two years ago to make his dream of becoming a singer come true. But the latter had confided in his comrades, during the adventure, about the difficulty of living so far from his family. Upon his return to the Château de Dammarie-Les-Lys, this Wednesday, January 15, Franck shared his concerns regarding the haters and the bad comments he had read at that time. “I saw comments to harm me”he summarized to Ebony and Marine.

Ebony tried to reassure her friend, sharing her own experience with hateful comments. “Really, I don’t care. Because they’re stupid. There were such stupid comments. And then, you go see the person’s account, and you’re like: but why are you opening your mouth?” she explained. Franck added before retracting: “Yeah, every… I was going to say a joke but then I’m going to offend all the people who are called that, so no!”. In turn, Marine shared her feelings. She said she was criticized for singing pre-recorded songs live, for technical reasons. A disappointment which will have the merit of preparing the candidates for their exit from the adventure. Because fame has its share of inconveniences.
